EPL table: Arsenal remain joint-top with Man City after 2-1 win over Chelsea

Arsenal recovered from an early goal to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Both London clubs came into match with a perfect record, having won their opening two fixtures so far.

But it was the Blues who took the lead inside the first 90 seconds at the Emirates.

A loose ball fell to Morgan Rogers, who was a big Arsenal transfer target this summer and he drilled a low shot past David Raya.

The Premier League champions saw a Riccardo Calafiori effort ruled out for offside, before Kai Havertz drilled in the equalizer.

Martin Odegaard latched onto a pass inside the box to score the winner, as Mikel Arteta’s men preserved their perfect record.

They now have nine points, the same with Man City, who are only ahead by goals scored.
