A Ghanaian woman has shared how she discovered that a man she had dated for four years was also in another serious relationship.
The woman, identified as Harmony, told her story during a public gathering in Ghana.
She said she ended the relationship about two weeks before sharing her experience.
“We were in a serious relationship,” Harmony told the audience.
According to her, they had discussed commitment and she believed the relationship could lead to marriage.
Harmony said she never suspected that her partner had another woman.
She discovered the alleged deception after one of her friends saw the man celebrating his fourth anniversary with another woman.
Her friend noticed that the anniversary dates covered the same period Harmony had been dating him.
The friend then contacted Harmony and showed her the anniversary post.
Harmony realised that both relationships had reportedly lasted four years.
She said the discovery made her understand that she was the other woman, despite believing she was in a committed relationship.
Harmony became emotional while sharing the experience.
Several women in the audience also cried as they listened to her story. A man on the stage later comforted her.
The man involved has not publicly responded to Harmony’s account.
His identity and the identity of the other woman were not disclosed. Harmony’s claims have also not been independently confirmed.
