‘I Sell Spare Parts; He Should Join Me’ — Ghanaian Fan Takes Swipe At Kwasi Sibo After Gambia Defeat

A disappointed Ghanaian football fan has taken a swipe at Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo following Ghana’s 4–2 defeat to The Gambia in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The fan, who said he has followed the Black Stars since 1992, expressed his frustration while commenting on Sibo’s performance during the match.
“I started watching Black Stars matches in 1992, and I have never seen a player who doesn’t know how to play football like Kwasi Sibo. I sell spare parts; he should come and join me so we can sell them because football is not his job,” he said.
Kwesi Sibo started the match alongside Caleb Yirenkyi in Ghana’s midfield and was substituted at half-time, with Ibrahim Sulemana taking his place.
Ghana had taken a 2–0 lead through Ernest Nuamah and Felix Afena-Gyan, but The Gambia fought back before half-time before completing the comeback in the second half.
Ebrima Colley scored twice after the break, including a stoppage-time goal, as The Gambia secured a 4–2 victory over the Black Stars.
The defeat leaves Ghana without a point from its opening two Group C matches of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
