Content creator Xxssive has reacted to Mr P’s decision to change the date of his birthday celebration, apologising to Jude Okoye over the long-running family dispute involving the P-Square brothers.
Xxssive, in a statement shared online, said Mr P’s latest explanation had made him reconsider the situation and view the controversy from another angle.
He suggested that Peter Okoye may have used the family issues to promote himself, his business and his music career.
Xxssive said:
“Jude Okoye, Please, On Behalf Of Nigerians, We’re So Sorry. Please Forgive Us. It Looks Like We’re Now Seeing This Whole Thing From Another Angle. It’s Now Looking Like Peter Psquare Played With Our Intelligence. Any Man Who Is Ready To Use His Family’s Downfall To Promote Himself, His Business And His Music Career Is a W!cked Person.”
His comments come after Mr P recently announced that he now celebrates his birthday on November 30 instead of November 18.
The singer, who shares November 18 as a birthday with his twin brother Paul Okoye, had explained that he made the change because of the emotional tension surrounding the date and the issues that have followed their relationship.
The development has continued to fuel public discussion about the bitter rift between the former P-Square members, with social media users offering different interpretations of events surrounding their family dispute.
