The governorship candidate of African democratic Congress ADC, Abubakar chika Malami on Wednesday flagged off campaigns for 2027 polls with a particular pledge to prosecute issued based campaigns and improved healthcare and to revatilise critical sectors in Kebbi state.
ADC campaigns director general,Alhaji Sani Tadurga in a press conference held at Asbir hotel in Birnin Kebbi disclosed that the opposition ADC is on a rescue mission not just in politics for personal gains.
Tadurga maintained Malami is in the race to reposition the state in terms of education, security, agriculture and to turn around the fortunes of Kebbi state to benefit every citizens in the state.

The campaigns train also highlighted plans to improve the tourism sector in Kebbi through private and public parternaship to create hundreds of jobs for the young people of Kebbi state.
He stressed his government plans if elected governor to fight out of school children and improve the quality of education through roboost education policy which will drive successful implementation education for all policy in Kebbi state.
Tadurga expressed the readiness of the potential government to take campaigns to every nooks and crannies in the state as it will not take any community for granted during the campaigns.
However, shortly after the press conference, the special adviser to the governor on communication and strategy,Alhaji Abdullahi zuru said that their gathering was a just a mere distraction from the visible developmental huge projects being executed in the state
He added that the campaign train lied about the claims in healthcare, education and insecurity no one is in doubt that there is improved security in the state with the support of the state government through sustained logistics and welfare for security forces in the state.
He stressed that why is the opposition always keep mum in gains and achievements in all sectors in the state,our security forces have made huge rescue of kidnapped victims and had repelled so many attacks in the state but the opposition is only interested in shielding truth and parading lies to gain cheap popularity.
Zuru added that people of Kebbi state has taken a decision to return the sitting governor,Dr Nasir Idris as governor as there is no alternative to him.
