NDC members attacked by thugs during 1 million an march in Warri[VIDEO]

Supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, on Thursday, repelled an attack by suspected political thugs during an ongoing 1-million-man march in support of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso in Warri, Delta State.

The incident reportedly occurred near the Warri Airport, where NDC supporters, including Obidients and Kwankwasiya supporters, were attacked by suspected political thugs.

Videos from the scene showed groups of supporters in blue shirts holding their ground and using sticks to fend off the attackers, who were eventually forced to retreat.

The incident reportedly caused chaos in the area as the NDC supporters confronted the hoodlums while security personnel were seen at the scene.

One of the supporters, who appeared to have been injured during the attack, said: “He stabbed me. Look at the thugs, they came to attack us. The security [personnel] are watching. We must face them. We are fully ready for them.”

Despite the attack, the NDC supporters maintained their presence and continued with the march.
