Ifeanyi Okowa, who was the 2023 vice-presidential running mate of the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, says he knew even before the election results came out that they would lose.
Speaking at an event in his home state of Delta, the former Delta State governor said he could see the political situation clearly enough to predict the outcome.
He said he had even told Christian leaders what he thought would happen before voting took place.
According to Okowa, he told the religious leaders that the APC would win the election, the PDP would come second and the Labour Party would finish third.
That is exactly how the 2023 election results turned out, with President Bola Tinubu of the APC winning, Atiku in second place and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in third.
