An Edo State man has lamented the rising cost of petrol after claiming he spent ₦4,000 to buy just three litres of fuel.
In a video circulating on social media, the man expressed frustration over the latest price increase and directly addressed President Bola Tinubu.
“President Tinubu, do you want to k!ll us? Imagine buying just three litres of fuel for ₦4,000. Please, don’t come back again, sir.”
His complaint comes amid another round of petrol price increases across the country.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery raised its petrol gantry price from ₦1,265 to ₦1,350 per litre on September 12, 2026. The increase subsequently pushed pump prices higher at several filling stations, with reports showing prices of around ₦1,395 in Lagos and as high as ₦1,500 in some parts of the country.
The development has continued to attract reactions from Nigerians online.
