Shatta Wale Angrily Shouts At Jomoro MP Hon Dorcas Affo-Toffey After She Interrupted His Performance On Stage At NkrumahFest 2026
Shatta Wale has had a sharp exchange with Jomoro MP and Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, after she approached him on stage mid-performance at NkrumahFest 2026, prompting the musician to angrily wave her off in front of thousands of fans.
Footage from the event shows the dancehall artist fully immersed in his set, shirtless and energized as he moved across the stage engaging the crowd, when the MP walked up and leaned in to whisper something in his ear.
His reaction was immediate and visibly irritated, dismissing her on the spot as she turned and made her way back to her seat without further incident.
Moments later, Shatta Wale addressed the moment directly through the microphone, making clear to the crowd that he wasn’t in the mood for interruptions while performing.
“Mummy, I am f***ing working!” he shouted, drawing a mix of laughter, cheers and stunned reactions from the audience who had just watched the exchange play out live.
The clip has since spread quickly online, with fans debating whether the artist’s reaction was justified given he was mid-performance, or whether it crossed a line given who he was addressing.
Either way, the moment has become one of the standout talking points from this year’s edition of NkrumahFest.
