Two young boys suspected of stealing a commercial tricycle in Somanya in the Eastern Region have been apprehended by residents and handed over to the police.
The suspects were reportedly caught shortly after the tricycle was allegedly stolen, following quick action by residents who went after them.
The stolen tricycle was also recovered and secured after the suspects were apprehended.
A video circulating from the incident shows the two suspects standing beside the recovered tricycle after they were reportedly caught by residents.
The suspects were subsequently handed over to the police to assist with investigations into the alleged theft.
