Veronika Vovk Dmytriyivna on confidence, intuition, and the lessons behind her modeling journey

For Veronika Vovk Dmytriyivna, building a career as a model and fashion influencer has been about more than her fashion projects, international work and extensive travel. In her career, she has also encountered challenging experiences, different professional environments, and decision-making situations that have shaped her. Veronika has gained insight into being more cautious and attentive to others, listening to her instincts, and being more confident in making her own decisions.

Veronika’s career can be seen from the outside in terms of her professional accomplishments. During her modelling career she has worked with Ukrainian and foreign fashion brands and also been widely travelling around. 

This experience has enabled her to gain experience in working in various professional settings, and to work on projects that involve famous people. But, Veronika’s journey hasn’t been easy. As she has endured many hardships and hard times in her life, she has had to cope with some people who mean something different when they say it. 

For example, these experiences help her to be more mindful of the people she spends time with, to listen to her gut and to make her own choices. 

Learning to Trust Her Own Judgment

Perhaps one of the most important things she has learned is to pay more attention to the people she chooses to be around in all areas of her life, especially at work. Veronika discovered through trial and error that it is crucial to be aware of the people she is in close proximity to. 

It was also a confidence booster that made her do what she felt was right, and do it on her own. These lessons have influenced Veronika’s attitude toward the various persons and circumstances in her career.

For Veronika, confidence has been built through experience. One notable international experience was an advertising campaign for a Cypriot airline that included a scene with Andrea Pirlo. Working on international projects involving well-known personalities such as Andrea Pirlo has helped Veronika gain confidence and experience in different working environments.

Those experiences helped her develop three major attributes that are important to her in her work: professionalism, adaptability and confidence. Through her experience working with international brands and personalities, Veronika has learned the importance of remaining professional, adaptable and confident in different environments.

The Discipline Behind an International Career

Not everything Veronika has learned comes from modelling. She was also working and travelling extensively for her career while completing her degree in Psychology in Ukraine. Throughout her studies, she continued pursuing her education while remaining active in her professional career.

University, Work and Constant Travel

Balancing university, work, and constant travel was a major challenge for Veronika. It took a lot of organisation, discipline and determination. During her studies, she continued collaborating with Ukrainian and international brands and working on fashion projects. 

Despite having a demanding schedule, she finished her degree in Psychology while continuing to grow her career in the fashion industry. Being able to balance those two challenging areas is one of Veronika’s biggest achievements.

She feels that one can pursue an education, build a career, travel and grow in several different areas at the same time with proper organisation and the right mindset. During her studies, Veronika continued working with Ukrainian and international brands and participating in various fashion projects while completing her education.
