Adeleke arrives Abuja for APC presidential campaign council inauguration

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has arrived in Abuja for the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Adeleke’s inclusion in the campaign council comes after the APC unveiled a revised list of members for its 2027 presidential campaign.
The list also includes the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The council comprises party leaders, governors, ministers and other stakeholders tasked with coordinating the ruling party’s campaign activities ahead of the polls.

Adeleke’s participation in the event follows his inclusion alongside political figures from different parties in the APC’s campaign structure. Wike remains associated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Soludo belongs to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The inauguration marks a step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, as political parties and their allies begin organising campaign structures ahead of the polls.
