Femi Adebayo sets December date for ‘Jagun Jagun 2’ on Netflix

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has announced December 4, 2026, as the release date for Jagun Jagun 2: War of Warriors, bringing the anticipated sequel to his Yoruba epic to Netflix as fans await the next chapter of its tale of warfare, ambition and power.
Adebayo disclosed the date on his official Instagram page where he confirmed that the film would premiere exclusively on the streaming platform. The announcement came subsequent to the 2023 release of Jagun Jagun: The Warrior, which attracted attention for its portrayal of Yoruba traditions, military hierarchy and struggles for dominance.
Teasing the sequel, Adebayo wrote: “Even in his absence, his name remained a curse whispered behind closed doors.
“Some men are made by war. Others are the reason kingdoms learn to fear it.
“JAGUN JAGUN 2: WAR OF WARRIORS.
“ONLY ON NETFLIX DECEMBER 4, 2026.”
The message suggests that the conflict surrounding the original film’s feared warlord and his legacy could continue to shape the new instalment. However, the filmmakers have yet to publish a full synopsis, so the identity of the character referenced in the teaser and the direction of the sequel’s plot remain unconfirmed.
