A fire broke out at a senior living home in Clinton, Mississippi, on Wednesday evening.

Residents had to leave the building fast.

No injuries have been reported so far at the Brookdale Clinton facility, but officials are not yet sure that everyone is accounted for.

The city says most of the building is gone.

Residents who got out were taken by bus to a nearby church.

Crews are still searching the building.

Some older residents watched from across the street as bright orange flames and black smoke rose into the sky.

One was in a wheelchair and others used walkers.

One woman even had a small dog with her.

Part of the roof has collapsed while firefighters keep spraying water on the building.

Brookdale says it will move the displaced residents to some of its other properties.

Governor Tate Reeves said the state is praying for the residents, staff and families.

The state health department and emergency management agency are helping with the response.

People have been asked to stay away from the area so emergency crews can do their work.
