Social media personality Mandy Kiss has publicly apologised to Nigerian singer Naira Marley, expressing regret over her past actions and comments against him on social media.

The apology comes years after Mandy Kiss was caught up in the backlash surrounding the death of former Marlian signee Mohbad in 2023.

At the height of the controversy, Mandy Kiss had publicly criticised Naira Marley and also made headlines after removing a tattoo of the singer’s face from her thighs. She had previously expressed regret over having his image permanently inked on her body.

Reflecting on the events, Mandy Kiss said she was influenced by the intense social media pressure at the time and did not act based on personal knowledge of what had happened.

According to her, she was intimidated into joining the criticism against Naira Marley because of the volume of information and reactions circulating online.

In a video shared on her TikTok page on Friday, October 2, Mandy Kiss directly addressed the singer and apologised for her actions.

She said:

“I am officially apologising to Naira Marley and all the Marlians group. I was intimidated then to come against Naira Marley then and l did. I want Naira Marley to understand that I was a young lady then, but I am well matured now. I am really sorry Naira Marley, pls forgive me.”

Mandy Kiss further described herself as more mature now and appealed to Naira Marley to forgive her for her past comments and actions.
