Nigerian cleric and founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned Nigerians about what he described as worsening hunger in the country.
In a recent statement, Ayodele criticised the administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC), accusing the ruling party of contributing to the hardship being experienced by Nigerians.
The cleric urged Nigerians not to allow political assistance, including food items, to influence their views or decisions, specifically advising them against accepting rice distributed by the APC.
“More hunger is coming to Nigeria. The APC government brought hunger to Nigeria. Stop collecting rice from the APC,” Ayodele said.
His comments come amid ongoing public concerns over the rising cost of food and the economic difficulties facing many households across the country.
The cleric’s remarks have since drawn attention, particularly his warning that Nigerians should look beyond temporary relief and focus on the broader economic conditions affecting their livelihoods.
