Pedro, Rogers, Palmer fuel Chelsea’s attack as Blues defeat Bournemouth

Chelsea’s attacking trio of João Pedro, Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer continue to drive the Blues’ goal output, combining for 18 goals and assists after Saturday’s 5-1 demolition of Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro leads the group with eight direct goal contributions. The Brazilian has scored five goals and set up three more. He added two to his tally against Bournemouth, striking in the 46th minute and again in the 67th to restore Chelsea’s three-goal cushion after Evanilson pulled one back.

Rogers follows with four goals and one assist. He doubled Chelsea’s lead a minute after Jordan Henderson opened the scoring in the second minute, capitalising on the veteran midfielder’s assist.
Palmer has registered two goals and three assists. The England star set up Henderson’s early opener and keeps pulling the strings in midfield. He recently signed a contract to stay at Chelsea until 2034.
Between them, the three have scored 11 goals and created seven. Their output helped Chelsea end a run of three league games without a win and climb to fifth in the table.
Henderson, 36, stole the headlines on his home debut. He scored twice, including a 70th-minute free-kick, and provided an assist, completing the rout.
Chelsea will look to carry the momentum forward as the campaign continues, while Bournemouth must regroup after a heavy defeat.
