Senator Adams Oshiomhole has criticised Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar at an APC rally in Cross River State, where he backed President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
He asked how Obi, who governed Anambra for eight years, could promise to fix Nigeria in four years when he did not fix Anambra in eight.
He also said Atiku spends most of his time in Dubai and only comes home around election time, and predicted he would lose and return there.
Oshiomhole praised Tinubu’s record in Cross River.
He said the state’s recognition as an oil producing state would bring in more money, and that the student loan scheme has helped young people whose parents cannot pay school fees.
He also pointed to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and defended the end of multiple exchange rates, which he said gave the country one uniform rate.
He urged residents to reject opposition parties and said the APC is now firmly established in the state.
