APC loses stalwart in Ogun, party mourns

The death of late grassroots politician and member of Governor’s Advisory Committee,  Alhaji Falilu Adebisi Sabitu, has been described as a painful loss to the progressive family, not only in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area, but the whole of Ogun State.

The Ogun State Chairman of the party, Chief Yemi Sanusi, said this in an obituary issued on Wednesday.

Sabitu, a former Commissioner for Forestry and Rural Development in the state, was described as “a grassroots politician that was always full of life, amiable and jovial. He lived a very impactful life; a man full of humour.

“While we are pained by his demise, we are grateful for the eventful and impactful life that he lived. 

He served his party and state till be breadth his last. 

“His influence was enormous and he was known for his outspokenness.

“While commiserating with the entire progressive family in general, we pray that God will give the family, friends and associates, the fortitude to bear the loss.”
