We’re thrilled celebrating anniversary, says Ukanwoke

Agents Beat Kingmakers FC On Penalties

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, has said celebrating the company’s sixth anniversary with an exhibition match between the Kingmakers FC and BetKing Agents was a fantastic idea.

At the end of the thrilling exhibition football match, played at the BetKing Mini Stadium, in Victoria Island, Lagos, BetKing Agents won in a penalty shootout after the game ended 3-3 at regulation time.

The match, which according to Ukanwoke symbolises the unity and competitiveness among staff and the agents, saw Kingmakers FC starting strongly, scoring two goals, but the Agents quickly equalised before game before halftime. In the second half, the Agents took the lead again.

However, the Kingmakers didn’t give up and fought back, tying the match at 3-3. The deadlock led to a tense penalty shootout, ultimately resulting in the Agents securing victory with a decisive penalty kick.

Further contributing to the celebration, BetKing showcased its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a second football match between the teams it sponsors, Ikorodu FC and the Kidsport Charity Initiative. The match ended 4-3 in favour of Ikorodu FC.

Speaking with journalists at the end of the game, Ukanwoke congratulated the agents for their well-deserved victory. He said: “It has been a successful six-year journey. BetKing is a leading sports betting and entertainment company in Africa, and we offer a diverse range of services, including sports betting on various sports such as football, hockey, cricket, tennis, basketball, and wheelchair events.

“Additionally, BetKing provides cutting-edge virtual games, including the exclusive Kings’ League. This is a fantastic display of teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship from both the Kingmakers and Agents. We are driven by the commitment to deliver enhanced value to our customers.”
