All Northern Schools Conference 2026 Set To Transform Education In Kano

The All Northern Schools Conference 2026, aimed at reshaping the future of schooling in Northern Nigeria, is set to hold between 5th and 7th May 2026 in Kano.

The event, themed “Repositioning Northern Schools for Innovation, Sustainability and Impact,” is designed to deliver bold solutions and strategic insights that will accelerate innovation and drive lasting improvements in the region’s education system.

According to organisers, the conference will hold at the Afficient Grand Marquee, Kano State, and Maryam Abacha American University, Kano.

It is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants.

These will include school owners, principals, government officials, tech entrepreneurs, investors, and development partners from across the region.

Convened by Dr Hadiza Nuhu Yusuf Baba, Founder of Intercontinental Schools, Kaduna, the summit aims to re-energise and re-equip school leaders with actionable tools and practical knowledge to improve school performance, enhance sustainability, and foster innovation in teaching and learning.

Speaking ahead of the event, the convener said the initiative reflects a deep commitment to strengthening education in the region at a time of rapid social and economic change.

“Northern schools must be empowered to lead in innovation, sustainability and impact. This conference will serve as a launchpad for fresh ideas, strategic partnerships and collaborative action that will change how education is delivered across the North,” she said.

Over the course of the conference, delegates will engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions, masterclasses, exhibitions and solution-driven sessions focusing on cutting-edge educational practices, sustainable school models, policy alignment, and investment opportunities that support long-term growth and development.

Organisers emphasised that the conference is more than a forum for discussion.

 

According to her, it is a strategic platform for action designed to generate real outcomes for Northern schools and the communities they serve.
