Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Barau FC have been crowned champion of the 2026 Kano State Federation Cup.
Barau FC defeated Nigeria National League, NNL, side Bichi First 3-2 at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Monday.
The Maliya Boys won the title for the first time in their history.

Barau FC and Bichi First FC will represent Kano State in the 2026 national President Federation Cup.
The date and fixtures for the Round of 64 of the competition is expected to be announced by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
