NCEVECC fixes May 24 for second batch training in Rivers

The National Community Ethics and Values Environmental Compliance Corps has announced the commencement of its second batch training camp for recruits in Rivers State.

In an official notice issued by the Rivers State Command, the NCEVECC stated that the week-long exercise would begin on Sunday, May 24, 2026, and end on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

According to the statement signed by the Secretary of the command, ACSE Tyger Amoniya, all recruits are expected to assemble at the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers Secretariat Complex, located close to the Fire Service Canteen, ahead of movement to the camp venue.

“The second batch training camp will officially commence from Sunday, 24th May 2026 to Saturday, 30th May 2026. All recruits are to assemble at the designated point for onward transportation to the camp,” the statement read.

The corps disclosed that transportation arrangements had been made, noting that buses would convey recruits from the assembly point to the training camp. It added that departure is scheduled for 12:00 noon prompt, urging participants to arrive early to avoid missing the movement.

The command further outlined mandatory items required for the training, including NCEVECC-branded T-shirts, shorts, canvas shoes, cutleries, buckets, original copies of credentials, and other personal essentials.

It emphasised strict compliance with the requirements, warning that only properly kitted and verified recruits would be admitted into the camp.

On registration, the corps advised intending participants who are yet to complete their enrolment and payment to do so without delay.

“Only fully registered and paid individuals will be admitted into the training camp. Kindly use this period to secure the necessary funds or sponsorship,” the statement added.

The NCEVECC reiterated its commitment to maintaining discipline and compliance throughout the exercise, urging all recruits to adhere strictly to the guidelines provided.
