2026 National Common Entrance Examination: NABTEB Extends Registration Closing Date To May 31, Exams To Hold June 13

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has extended the registration period for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into all Technical Colleges in Nigeria from Sunday, 24th May, 2026 to midnight of Sunday, 31st May, 2026.

This was contained in a press statement made available to journalists in Benin on Sunday by Uchechukwu Olisah, Assistant Director (Media/Protocol) NABTEB.

The Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, Olisah stated, conveyed the approval for the extension of the registration period for the National Common Entrance (NCEE) in an internal memorandum signed by the Director, Examinations Administration, Ms. Chigoziem Susan Metu.

By this extension, the registration for the National Common Entrance (NCEE) will close on Sunday, 31st May, 2026, while the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) earlier fixed for Saturday, 6th June, 2026, will now hold on Saturday, 13th June, 2026.

The extension of registration period for the NCEE, according to the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, NABTEB, is in response to popular demand by potential candidates who are urged to use this window of opportunity to register for the examination and conclude their registration formalities.

Dr. Mohammed enjoined prospective candidates that are entrepreneurially inclined and those who seek admission to institutions of higher learning to register and take NABTEB examinations.
