Appreciation & Commendation: Osun women dance & Firstlady clothings at 20

What a glorious day it was at Great Ife!

Osun Women Dance was more than an event — it was an encounter of love, honour, and excellence. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in a warm reception and genuine love. It felt like coming home to family we had known “from time immemorial.”

Firstlady Simisola Asaolu, you led with grace and excellence. As Coordinator of Osun Women Dance and CEO of Firstlady Clothings, you set the standard for hospitality and vision.

The coordination was seamless, the VIP treatment was unmatched, and the smooth ride from Lagos to Ile-Ife and back showed intentional care.

The maiden edition of OSUN WOMEN DANCE 1.0 was a tremendous success because of your presence, energy, support, and commitment.

Special appreciation to our amiable Patrons: Professor Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, Vice Chancellor, UNILESA

Great Daniel Omopariola

Prof.Funmi Togonou BICKERSTETHs

Dr Bisi Anyadike

You all made it happen. We appreciate your commitment to the success of the program

Osun women 4

We must specially appreciate Dr. Alhaja Balikis Kazeem  Adeleye., Wife of the Osun State Chief of Staff — what a humble, friendly, and gracious woman. She welcomed us with warm love, connected with us genuinely, and made us feel honoured. We made beautiful friendships because of her heart. Thank you, Ma, for your humility and presence.

God favoured us with good weather — no rain, just smooth skies that matched the smooth flow of the program. The yoga session was refreshing, and the instructor did well. The dance session brought out joy in every woman, young and old. And the food? Top notch! Every detail was thought through.

The grandmas came in their numbers and danced like royalty. The unity, the laughter, the sisterhood, and the celebration of Firstlady Clothings’ 20th anniversary — it felt like heaven touched Great Ife that day.

This appreciation will not be complete if we did not recognise our indefatigable Convener, Amb Angela Tony Iji for birthing this laudable initiative. Keep making an impact, darling sis.

We didn’t want the day to end because love was the atmosphere and honour was the culture.

On behalf of the Lagos Crew, please accept our heartfelt commendation. You didn’t just organise a program. You created a sacred space where women felt valued, celebrated, and strengthened.

You made Lagos proud, and you made womanhood proud.

THANK YOU OSUN WOMEN!

To every participant, sponsor, partner, volunteer, guest, media representative, and supporter—THANK YOU!

Your enthusiasm, unity, and vibrant spirit made this celebration of culture, wellness, community, and womanhood truly unforgettable.
