Better Pack And Go Back To Lagos, Atiku Tells Tinubu Ahead of 2027

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has declared that President Bola Tinubu should prepare to return to Lagos ahead of the 2027 general election.
Atiku made the remark on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing journalists shortly after emerging as the ADC presidential flag bearer.
The former Vice President said President Tinubu could lose his re-election bid, stating, “President Tinubu should better pack and go back to Lagos.”
He also congratulated other aspirants who participated in the party’s primary election, describing the contest as competitive and focused on improving Nigeria.
“I congratulate my fellow contestants for this ticket to represent our great party in the elections scheduled for early next year. I know that you are driven by your patriotism and commitment to a better Nigeria and improved life for our people,” Atiku said.
Atiku secured the ADC presidential ticket after defeating former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi and former banker Mohammed Hayatu-Deen in the primary election.
He polled 1,846,370 votes to emerge winner of the contest.
