Pastor Bolaji Idowu, convener of the Next Level Prayer (NLP-UK) has come under scathing criticism over a heavy presence of security men at the conference in the United Kingdom.
A blogger, Johnson Alabi, in a thought-provoking post on his Instagram handle, wondered why the cleric would surround himself with such a human barricade in a safe city as London.
Alabi’s query has, however, stirred intense controversy among followers of the Pastor other faithful on social media, who accused the blogger of insensitivity.
A netizen, Sandra James, took a swipe at Alabi, asking why he chose to pick on the cleric’s choice of protocol despite other remarkable happenings at the prayer event.
Meanwhile, a daily (not LEADERSHIP) had reported that there was jubilation on Sunday at the NLP-UK Conference following the reported healing of a nine-year-old girl, Kiona, of a medical condition called stenosis of the spine.
The condition caused by an accident had caused severe pains on the victim, leadthe wearing of a neck brace.
According to available medical records, Kiona suffered dystrophic kyphoscoliosis with apical stenosis for three years due to injuries from the car accident.
“The Doctors said they are going to do two major operations on my spine. They are going to rip out my rib cages and repair, and put massive cages on my rib cage and spine, and on my back,” Kiona told the congregation.
A viral Instagram video showed a mammoth crowd jubilating at the event hosted by Pastor Idowu.
Pastor Bolaji, who was ministering at the conference, was making declarations when the incident occurred. Witnesses said the girl’s condition changed noticeably, prompting cheers, tears, and expressions of gratitude from the audience.
