BREAKING: Atiku visits Amaechi after ADC presidential primary

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday visited former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi at his Abuja residence following the conclusion of the presidential primaries of the African Democratic Congress.

Atiku was accompanied by a former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, former ADC National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu, and other party leaders.

The visit comes amid reactions and political discussions trailing the ADC primaries, in which both Atiku and Amaechi were key figures in the contest.

The visit was part of ongoing consultations aimed at strengthening unity within the party after the presidential primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Details of the closed-door meeting were not made public as of the time of filing this report.
