Former Senate President David Mark has said the recent governorship primary election conducted by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has shown that democracy can truly work in Nigeria when transparency, fairness, and internal party discipline are respected.
Mark made the statement while reacting to the conduct of the party’s primary election, which he described as peaceful, credible, and a strong example of how political parties should operate in a democratic system.
