Hon Quits PDP, Picks Benue SDP Governorship Ticket

A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Sebastine Tartenger Hon (SAN), has defected from the party and emerged the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Benue State election in 2027.
Hon recently left the All Progressives Congress (APC) for rhe PDP and later exited the party following the emergence of former attorney-general of the federation and minister of Justice, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa (SAN) as the party’s consensus governorship candidate.
Taking to his facebook page yesterday, Hon who hails from Gboko local government area in Benue North West Senatorial District appealed to the people to join and support the SDP for good governance.
He said, “I, Chief Prof. Sebastine Tartenger Hon, SAN, now the governorship gandidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), join and support for good governance.”
