I May Wait Till I’m 40 To Get Married – Ice Prince Speaks

Nigerian singer and rapper Panshak Henry Zamani, also known as “Ice Prince Zamani” or “Ice Prince”, has revealed he is currently unsure about marriage, stating he may consider settling down at 40.
During a podcast session with media personality Rufai Oseni, the rapper said he often sees marriages end within a year of the wedding.
He further stressed the financial pressure of elaborate ceremonies, noting that friends frequently ask him for money to fund their weddings.
Ice Prince said he does not want to put himself in that position, but he may consider marriage later in life, possibly around age 40.
He then used rapper M.I Abaga as an example, who married at that age.
In his words:
“These days, I get scared of this marriage thing more and more every day because I see people get married, and in less than a year, they want out. I see the drama people go through to get married, and the stress about borrowing money. My friends are constantly reaching out to me to borrow money to get married, and I don’t want to be that person.”
“I’m hoping that maybe when I am 40. Some of my mentors got married at that age; someone like M.I Abaga did too. Maybe when I’m that age, I’ll probably be thinking about that. For now, I don’t intend to”.
The rapper also shared other goals for when he turns 40, including returning to school and running a farm.
He added that he does not see himself actively releasing albums at that age and intends to move into a different phase of life.
He added, “Also, I have other goals when I’m 40. I intend to go to school. I really want to go to school so bad, and I’d like to run a farm when I’m that age. I don’t intend to be dropping albums when I’m 40”.
