Israeli army kills a Palestinian child in occupied West Bank

A Palestinian child has been killed by Israeli army fire in the occupied West Bank, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The agency reported that Fahd Zeidan Oweis, 16, was shot dead by Israeli forces in the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, while he was in the plain area of the village before dawn.
Israeli forces withheld the teenager’s body after preventing Palestinian Red Crescent crews from reaching him, WAFA added.
Meanwhile, illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque and several Palestinian-owned vehicles early on Friday in the village of Jibiya, northwest of Ramallah, WAFA reported.
Local sources told WAFA that illegal settlers entered the village, burned the mosque and several vehicles, and sprayed racist slogans on the walls of homes.
In a separate incident, illegal settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the town of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
