Kebbi Govt Unveils 3-year Achievements

Kebbi State government says it has recorded “monumental achievements” within the three years of the administration of Governor Nasir Idris.

The commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdullahi Faruk Muslim made the assertion at the inter-ministerial briefing organised by the Ministry of Information and Culture in Birnin Kebbi.

He said that between 2023 and 2026, the ministry executed and supervised numerous projects in road construction, rehabilitation, bridges, drainage systems, public buildings, and other critical infrastructure aimed at improving people’s living standards.

The commissioner said other achievements included the compilation of major emergency flood intervention projects, the construction of culverts and retaining walls, road expansion projects, and rehabilitation works across different parts of the state to ease transportation and support economic activities.

Muslim said other projects included the construction and renovation of primary, junior, and senior secondary schools; Islamiyya schools; mosques; village head palaces; court complexes; solar installations; cemetery fencing; and the provision of educational facilities across the state’s local government areas.

He commended Governor Idris for his commitment to the execution of the projects.
