Southern Women Forum Greets Muslims On Eid-el-Kabir

The President of the Southern Women Empowerment Forum, Dr. Helen Taiwo Adebakin, has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

Dr Adebakin, in her goodwill message, also celebrated the precious Nigerian children on the special occasion of Children’s Day.

“Eid-el-Kabir reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love, peace, and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is my prayer that Almighty Allah accepts our sacrifices, answers our prayers, and blesses our dear nation with unity, peace, and progress. As we celebrate, let us continue to promote tolerance, harmony, and support for one another irrespective of religious or political differences.

“At the same time, I celebrate every child whose dreams and aspirations represent the hope of a better tomorrow. Our children deserve quality education, proper care, moral guidance, security, and opportunities that will enable them to become responsible leaders of the future. We must continue to invest in their growth and protect their future with sincerity and commitment.

“I wish all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Baraka de Sallah celebration, and all our wonderful children a happy and memorable Children’s Day celebration”.The statement said
