Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on how people can identify genuine love in relationships.
Taking to his X page, the Nollywood actor stated that a man who truly loves a woman would be willing to take a bullet for her. He added that a woman who genuinely loves her husband would protect him by taking down his enemies before they could harm him.
“If a man truly loves you, he will take a bullet for you. If a woman truly loves you, she will take down your enemies before they can fire bullets at you,” he wrote.
The actor’s comments have sparked reactions online, with many social media users weighing in on his perspective on love, sacrifice, and loyalty between partners.
Yul’s latest post comes shortly after he spoke against men having affairs with married women. During discussions surrounding Frank Edoho’s marital controversy, the actor advised men to walk away from relationships where they discover infidelity rather than remain and be perceived as weak.
He also recently addressed the growing rate of untimely deaths among men, urging them to prioritise their health and emotional well-being. According to him, men should avoid unnecessary stress, distance themselves from anything affecting their peace of mind, and focus on living healthier lives.
