2027: CBM women wing mobilises support for Tinubu’s re-election bid

By Bashir Bello
The Women Wing of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has on Saturday mobilised support of Kano women for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027.
The National Women Leader of the movement, Ummasalma Isiyaku-Rabiu, rallied the support for Tinubu during a mega empowerment programme organised for women in Kano.
Isiyaku-Rabiu said Tinubu deserves re-election on the ground that the government gave the women more opportunities in terms of appointments than any other government.
“No government gave opportunities to women, especially in the Northwest in terms of appointments like the President Bola Tinubu administration.
“Let us come together to support the government in 2027,” she said.
The women leader further said the mega empowerment for the women was not the first as it carried out similar empowerment in the past.
Also speaking, the Director General, City Boy Movement, Francis Tosin-Shoga, said the empowerment to the women was to support their household and businesses.
He said the movement is about enlightenment of the public on the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
Earlier, the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, Hajiya Mariya Mahmoud warned the beneficiaries against selling the items.
The empowerment programme with the theme “Empowering women, strengthening families, building the Nation” saw distribution of items such as sewing machines, grinding machines, saloon dryer, food items among others to beneficiaries.(NAN)
