2027: Group Declares Support for Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid

A newly formed support group, CG Musa 4 PBAT, has declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The group’s Director-General, Barr. Babakura Waziri, announced the endorsement in a statement issued in Jos, saying the organisation would engage in grassroots mobilisation and public awareness campaigns across the country.
According to Waziri, the group comprises members from different backgrounds and was established to promote awareness of the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
He said the movement draws inspiration from retired General Christopher Musa, whose leadership, he noted, influenced the formation of the group.
Waziri identified the administration’s economic reforms, security efforts, youth-focused programmes and infrastructure projects as factors that informed the group’s decision to back the President’s second-term ambition.
Also speaking, the group’s Director of Publicity, Usman Saleh Hassan, said President Tinubu’s appointments reflected his approach to governance and leadership.
Hassan cited political philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli’s view that the quality of a leader’s appointees can serve as a measure of his judgment, adding that some of the President’s appointments demonstrated his preference for experienced officials.
The group said it plans to expand its activities to various parts of the country as political preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
