Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and his wife, Temi Otedola, have stirred reactions online after opening up about their unconventional preparations ahead of the birth of their first child.

The couple shared the details during a recent interview, where they revealed that they have been consulting multiple doctors and exploring different countries as possible locations for delivery.

According to them, about nine doctors are currently involved in monitoring and advising them throughout the pregnancy journey. They explained that the decision was not due to any medical complications but rather to help them weigh different options since they had not yet decided where the baby would be born.

Mr Eazi said they sought input from several medical professionals because they were still uncertain about their final destination for childbirth.

“Why exactly do we see nine doctors?” Temi asked during the conversation.

He responded that the consultations were to give them options, adding that they were unsure which country they would eventually choose.

“Fine, which country? Yeah, we didn’t know which country we were gonna decide to,” he said.

The singer also revealed he had considered Japan as a preferred location for the birth, adding that he was particularly interested in it.

“I wanted Japan because I wanted Japan,” he said.

Mr Eazi further shared that he had even looked into Japanese names for their unborn child, a suggestion Temi quickly dismissed with humor.

“By the way, he’s also been looking at Japanese names and I’m like no, absolutely not,” she joked.
