Adelabu Family Expresses Deep Gratitude After Safe Rescue Of Kidnap Victims

The family of Chief Adebayo Adelabu has expresses their profound gratitude to Almighty God and to all Nigerians whose prayers, support, and collective efforts led to the safe rescue of Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her twin sons, Peter and Paul, who were recently abducted and held in captivity.

According to a statement by Comrade Femi Awogboro, media aide to Chief Adebayo Adelabu, “We are relieved and thankful to announce that the victims have been rescued safely and are in good condition. This outcome is a testament to the power of collective action, the resilience of our security institutions, and the support of citizens and government at all levels

“Our sincere appreciation goes to His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his concern and commitment to the security and welfare of all citizens.

“The Executive Governor of Oyo State for his support, concern, and cooperation throughout this ordeal.

“The Inspector-General of Police, the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, the Oyo State Police Command, and the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State, for their professionalism and tireless efforts.

“The Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the officers of the Service at both the national headquarters and the Oyo State Directorate, whose intelligence-driven operations were crucial to the successful rescue.

“We also thank the National Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Oyo State Chapter, Party leaders and stalwarts nationwide, government officials, political associates, friends, family members, religious leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders, and countless Nigerians who stood with us in solidarity.

“The outpouring of visits, calls, messages, prayers, and words of encouragement provided immense strength and hope to our family during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.

“While we celebrate this safe rescue, our thoughts and prayers remain with other victims of kidnapping and their families who are still in captivity. We pray that Almighty God, in His mercy, will grant them freedom and safe reunion with their loved ones.

“This experience reaffirms that insecurity transcends politics, ethnicity, religion, and social status. It is a common enemy that demands collective vigilance, cooperation, and collaboration between government institutions, security agencies, political leaders, community stakeholders, and citizens.

“Together, we can build a Nigeria where every citizen feels safe and free to pursue their aspirations without fear. With sustained support for our security agencies, Nigeria can and will become a safer place for all.

“May Almighty God continue to protect our security personnel, bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, grant freedom to all those still in captivity, and make our nation a peaceful, secure, and prosperous home for every citizen”.
