APC praises Tinubu and Wike for major judicial infrastructure projects in Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warmly applauded President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, for the successful commissioning of key judicial infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s justice system.

In a press statement issued today from its National Secretariat in Abuja, the ruling party congratulated the President and the FCT Minister on the completion and commissioning of the new Court of Appeal Complex, equipped with state-of-the-art amenities.

The projects also include 20 units of residential quarters for justices of the Court of Appeal and judges of the Federal High Court.

The party further noted the forthcoming commissioning of another 20 units of residential quarters for FCT judges.

The APC highlighted that these developments form part of broader efforts by the Tinubu administration to enhance judicial facilities.

It specifically commended the groundbreaking ceremony for additional residential quarters for judges of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, scheduled for delivery in January 2027. These initiatives are intended to scale up capacity and bring justice sector facilities in line with 21st-century standards.

“The delivery of these critical and massive judicial infrastructure projects reflects President Tinubu’s iron-clad commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law, upholding the independence of the judiciary, and guaranteeing the dignity and welfare of judicial officers,” the statement read.

The party described the provision of world-class court facilities and quality accommodation as a strategic investment in the administration of justice and the consolidation of democratic governance.

By improving working and living conditions for judicial officers, the administration is promoting judicial efficiency and reinforcing public confidence in the justice system, it added.

The APC extended particular commendation to Minister Wike for his “unalloyed commitment, leadership, effective and timely execution” of the projects.

It framed the developments as a realisation of President Tinubu’s wider vision of institutional reform, infrastructure development, and national progress.

Issued on the third anniversary of the Tinubu administration, the party described the judicial infrastructure boost in the FCT as a “categorical restatement” that effective justice delivery, respect for the rule of law, and a vibrant democratic culture remain central to Nigeria’s development and prosperity.
