Reigning champions Arsenal will begin the defence of their Premier League crown with a home fixture against newly promoted Coventry City on Friday, 21 August. One of the standout fixtures of the opening weekend will see Chelsea face Fulham in a West London derby at Craven Cottage on Monday, 24 August.
