CDCFIB Begins Physical Screening, Document Verification For 2024/2025 Recruitment Applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to verify their status on the Board’s recruitment portal.

In a statement issued at the weekend by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major General A.M. Jibril, the Board said applicants who sat for the CBT conducted in November 2025 should visit the recruitment portal from June 15 to June 20, 2026, to check their application status.

According to the statement, applicants are required to log in to the portal using the application number generated during their initial registration.

Candidates who are successfully shortlisted will be expected to upload their credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening and document verification exercise.

The Board urged applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal to ensure a seamless screening process.

CDCFIB also reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains entirely free of charge, warning applicants against making payments to individuals, agents, groups or organizations claiming to facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres or final selection.

The Board further cautioned members of the public against fraudulent recruitment messages, fake links and unauthorized persons purporting to represent the agency, stressing that all official information regarding the exercise would be communicated exclusively through its recruitment portal and approved communication channels.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and fairness, CDCFIB stated that the recruitment exercise would be conducted in line with established rules and procedures, ensuring a credible and merit-based selection process.
