Ekhator Calls For Enterprise-Level Discipline In Entertainment Management Ahead Of UK Tour

As preparations intensify for the forthcoming MC Casino “Funny By Nature” UK Episode scheduled for August 2026, logistics and artiste management professional Nosa Ekhator has called for enterprise-level discipline in entertainment management, urging stakeholders to adopt structured, business-oriented systems ahead of the UK Tour.

Speaking ahead of the UK Tour, Ekhator said the evolution of Nigeria’s entertainment industry into a global export sector requires a shift from informal practices to enterprise-grade operations that meet international standards in planning, execution, and accountability.

He noted that the increasing global demand for Nigerian comedy and entertainment content has placed additional responsibility on managers, promoters, and production teams to operate with the same discipline expected in corporate organisations, particularly in areas such as logistics coordination, contract compliance, and brand management.

Ekhator, who serves as artiste manager at ECOWAS Entertainment Record, described the recently concluded MC Casino “Funny By Nature” show held at Eko Hotel, Lagos, in May 2026 as one of the most significant comedy productions in West Africa. He also serves as the artiste and logistics manager for popular comedian MC Casino, a role that has positioned him at the centre of the entertainer’s expanding international engagements.

According to him, the UK Tour represents a critical benchmark for assessing how well Nigerian entertainment brands are transitioning into structured global businesses, particularly in terms of operational efficiency, production standards, and stakeholder coordination.

He stressed that enterprise-level discipline must reflect in every aspect of the value chain, including tour planning, financial management, technical production, and audience experience delivery, noting that inconsistencies in any of these areas could undermine international credibility.

Ekhator further warned that without deliberate institutional discipline, the industry risks slowing its progress in accessing premium global markets where expectations for professionalism are significantly higher.

Industry observers note that the upcoming UK Tour is expected to strengthen MC Casino’s presence within the diaspora entertainment circuit, further highlighting the growing export potential of Nigerian comedy.

The “Funny By Nature” UK Episode is expected to feature a structured mix of live comedy performances, audience engagement, and curated production elements designed to consolidate the entertainer’s international appeal ahead of future global tours.
