Former Danjuma La’ah Campaign Allies Endorse Tinubu, Uba Sani and Katung for Re-Election

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

A group of former campaign allies of ex-Senator Danjuma La’ah, operating under the Southern Kaduna Integrity Forum (SKIF), has endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung. The endorsement was announced during a press conference in Kaduna, where the forum said its decision was based on what it described as the developmental achievements of the three leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the group, SKIF Convener Samuel Tajo said the forum’s support for Senator Katung was driven by his performance in office and not by political considerations following the APC senatorial primary election.

According to Tajo, projects such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Medical Centre, and other federal interventions in Southern Kaduna influenced the group’s decision. He also credited the senator with promoting unity across the eight local government areas in Southern Kaduna and said the forum remained committed to supporting candidates it believes are advancing the region’s development.

Tajo urged residents and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to back President Tinubu, Governor Sani, Senator Katung, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections. The forum said its endorsement was guided by considerations of performance, unity, and development. Former Senator Danjuma La’ah previously contested the APC senatorial primary election won by Senator Katung. La’ah subsequently alleged that the primary process was not free and fair.
