The late foster mother of Founder Penpushing Media, Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, Dame Oreoluwa Kayode-Adedeji, MFR, will be buried on June 13, 2026 at hometown, Ilesa in Osun State, South West of Nigeria.
It would be recalled that Mama passed peacefully to great beyond on January 5, 2026, at the age of 84, as the journalist’s foster son affirmed that she contributed to his positive developmental growth and will remain grateful to her even in death.
The Kayode-Adedeji in a week-long burial programme of events disclosed that it will commence on Monday, June 8, 2026 with tribute by management of Omotayo Maternity, to celebrate deceased’s passion with friends and families, slated to hold at Hall Close to Omotayo Maternity, Oke Ado, Ibadan by 12 noon
The family added that on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Mummy’s body arrives for lying in state at Omotayo Maternity reception between 9:00 am and 11:00, and service of songs at her residence located at Oni and Sons, Ibadan, between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm
The family added that on Thursday, June 11, 2026, a commendation service at Oke Ado Methodist Church from 9:00 am –11:00 am, and later in the day there will be a town rally, lying in state at Ilare-Ijesa hometown and reception at her residence.
The body will leave Ilare-Ijesa between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm and arrive Imo, Ilesa, approximately 6:30 pm, explaining that on Friday, June 12, 2026 Christian Wake Keep will hold at Imo, Ilesa, between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm
The programme added that on Saturday, June 13, 2026, a burial service will hold at Methodist Church, Otapete, Ilesa. between 9:00 am – 12 noon, and thereafter, a reception will take place at Zenababs Event Center at Zenabab Half Moon Resort, Ijebu-Jesa road, Ilesa, Osun State from 1:00 pm
