Nigeria’s leading digital investment platform, i-Invest, has launched a significantly upgraded platform experience and introduced asset-backed loans, marking a major step in its ambition to become a comprehensive wealth-building ecosystem for retail investors.
The enhanced platform, unveiled in Lagos, combines a redesigned user interface, personalized investment journeys, stronger security features, and a new lending solution that allows investors to access credit without liquidating their investment portfolios.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Parthian Technologies, Tobi Olusoga, said the transformation was driven by the need to remove barriers that prevent many Nigerians from embracing investment opportunities.
“For many people, investing still feels complex, intimidating, or inaccessible. We wanted to change that,” Olusoga said, noting that the new platform is designed to make wealth creation simpler and more accessible regardless of investors’ financial experience.
A key highlight of the upgrade is the introduction of asset-backed loans in partnership with i-Monie Microfinance Bank.
The feature enables eligible users to obtain financing using their investments as collateral, allowing them to meet short-term liquidity needs while maintaining their long-term investment positions.
Chief Executive Officer of i-Monie Microfinance Bank, Wendy Okam, said the partnership allows customers to seamlessly access loans directly through the i-Invest platform, with financing provided by the bank.
The upgraded application also offers customizable dashboards, personalized investment insights, market intelligence, watchlists, and improved portfolio tracking tools aimed at delivering a more engaging digital experience.
To strengthen user confidence, the platform incorporates enhanced security measures, including biometric authentication, PIN-based transaction authorization, and advanced infrastructure designed to safeguard users’ funds and personal data.
According to Parthian Technologies’ Chief Technology Officer, Kole Kuyoro, trust remains critical to the future of digital finance.
Since its launch eight years ago, i-Invest has provided hundreds of thousands of users access to investment products, reinforcing its mission to democratize wealth creation through technology.
