Leo Dasilva Urges BBNaija Stars To Build Lasting Careers Beyond Fame

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and Internet personality Leo Babarinde Akinola Dasilva has urged reality TV stars not to rely on the show as a lifelong career.
In a post on X, he advised former housemates to start businesses early and build strong brands beyond reality television. He encouraged them to explore different opportunities and create a clear plan for the next five years.
Dasilva also suggested that ex-housemates should consider stable careers and long-term goals. According to him, brand influencing should be an extra source of income, not the main one.
He stressed the need to create real value and build something sustainable beyond social media fame.
He wrote:
“Big Brother is not a full-time job. Go into business. Create a structure quickly, and try as many things as possible in a short time. Have a 5-year plan for brand and personal progression.
If possible, get married quickly, get a 9-5 and use brand promotion as a hobby, but make sure you create value”.
Many followers said relying only on fame and endorsements is risky.
They noted that it is not enough without a strong business base.
