A Nigerian lady has revealed the circumstances that led to a man calling off his wedding after his fiancée reportedly received a large sum of money from her ex-boyfriend.

According to her, the man later confronted his partner for clarification, and she explained how the money came in.
However, the situation escalated when the groom-to-be allegedly insisted that she should return the money and block her former lover. The bride-to-be reportedly refused, leading to a disagreement between the couple.
She maintained that the money was a gift and stressed that she had not been in contact with her ex-boyfriend for years before receiving the transfer.
The tweet reads.
“The man ordered her to send the money back and also asked her to block the ex boyfriend, but the lady refused. She said it was just a gift and besides, the ex is not in the country and she has not seen him in years”.
