Man Utd confirm deal for Heaton, interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder

Manchester United on Thursday confirmed that Tom Heaton has signed a new one-year contract at the club.
The experienced goalkeeper remains an integral part of the club’s first-team squad, playing an important leadership role in the dressing room since returning to Old Trafford in 2021.
Reacting after signing the deal, Heaton told the Red Devils’ website, “It is a huge honour to continue to represent Manchester United.
“I am really excited to play my role in driving us forward and helping the group to compete for the biggest honours.”
In a similar development, Manchester United are interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid, according to The Times.
Man United manager Michael Carrick is set to secure his first signing, with Atalanta’s Ederson agreeing to move to Old Trafford.
However, Tchouameni could be set to follow the Brazilian to United, with the French midfielder’s future uncertain at the Santiago Bernabeu.
