Israeli media reported on Tuesday that representatives associated with Moroccan participation in the proposed international stabilisation force for Gaza have arrived in southern Israel, although no official confirmation has been issued by Rabat.
According to Israel’s public broadcaster Kan, an initial group of representatives linked to the Moroccan Armed Forces arrived at the Civil-Military Coordination Center in southern Israel, where preparations related to the international stabilization force are reportedly being coordinated.
The broadcaster said the representatives arrived at the US-operated headquarters in Kiryat Gat as part of the International Stabilisation Force (ISF), a component of the broader framework envisioned under the Gaza post-war plan backed by US President Donald Trump.
Kan reported that the delegation’s arrival marks the first publicly reported involvement of Moroccan personnel in the initiative.
As of Tuesday evening, Moroccan authorities had not commented on the report.
The Civil-Military Coordination Center was established under US supervision to oversee the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and coordinate international efforts related to its enforcement. The facility operates in cooperation with the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
The international stabilization force is one of several bodies envisaged under the post-war governance framework for Gaza.
According to the plan, the transitional structure includes a Peace Council, a Gaza Executive Council, a National Committee for the Administration of Gaza and an international stabilization force tasked with supporting security and implementation arrangements during the transition period.
The initiative was incorporated into broader international efforts aimed at managing post-war governance and reconstruction in Gaza following the ceasefire agreement.
No details were provided regarding the size of the reported Moroccan contingent, the scope of its mission or whether additional personnel are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
